I joined Rebtel in the months before the launch of its new brand, app, and concept ("Speak Freely") as agencies were pitching for Rebtel's new brand anthem. Like its new logo, Rebtel wanted something that captured its vision to things upside-down and fully embrace the "rebel" in its name. But despite encouragement to go bolder and crazier, we kept getting pitched the same empty, cookie-cutter "inspirational" anthems that looked and sounded just like every other brand's.
Eventually, I pitched my own anthem which seemed to more authentically capture Rebtel's brand values and mission.
I wrote, directed, edited, and provided the voice-over for "Anti-Anthem."
